BARNES & NOBLE TEXTBOOK SCHOLARSHIP
BARNES & NOBLE TEXTBOOK SCHOLARSHIP – Eligible students may apply for the Barnes & Noble Textbook Scholarship to help offset textbook expenses that are not covered by other sources of financial aid.
Eligibility
- Students may only apply one time per academic year
- Students must be meeting all Financial Aid Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) standards
- Students must have completed the 2022-2023 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
- Students must have financial need as determined by the FAFSA
Textbook Purchase Requirements
- Textbooks must be required for courses in which the recipient is enrolled
- Supplies and materials are NOT covered by the scholarship
- Textbooks must be purchased from Wor-Wic’s bookstore
Scholarship Details
- Scholarship funding is limited. Awards are made on a first-come first-served bases
- Funding will not be awarded if textbook charges are already covered by other sources of financial aid
- Funding is awarded for the exact cost of textbooks (minus any other financial aid awards) not to exceed $400.
- Funding is only awarded once per academic year (fall, spring, or summer)
- The textbook scholarship can be reduced or cancelled at any point if textbooks costs are covered by another source of financial aid
Bookstore receipt
Students who are awarded the Barnes & Noble Textbook Scholarship will receive an email notification which will provide additional instructions. All recipients will be required to provide a copy of the bookstore receipt to the Financial Aid Office. The scholarship offer will be cancelled for students who do not submit a receipt.
