BURGESS FAMILY

BURGESS FAMILY – Michelle B. Morris, an early childhood education faculty member, provides $500 in scholarship funds each year in honor of her parents, retired Marine Capt. B. E. and Peggy Burgess. Applicants must be residents of Worcester, Wicomico or Somerset County, they must have completed at least 15 credit hours at Wor-Wic, and they must be currently registered for at least six credit hours. Selection is based on scholastic achievement. Recipients must maintain a 3.00 grade point average. Preference is given to U.S. military veterans and/or students majoring in education.
